Shamsia is a Bangalore-based abstract artist. She has done MBA and a Goldman Sachs 10000 women alumni.

"During my childhood, paint and paper were my favorite toys. In the beginning, I painted and learned the proportions exactly and how to put them into practice. But as I grew up, the pure depiction of reality was too limited for me, I wanted to give shape to my feelings. The turn to abstract painting opened up my very personal world of images", says Shamsia.

Shamsia works from her home studio and exhibits artwork through galleries. She works exclusively in acrylic mixing techniques, and painting has become one of the main contents of her life. Her artwork is featured in google books, art & culture, and also holds world record by World Book of Records, UK. She is also a Guild artist and holds membership from the prestigious Fine Art Trade Guild, UK.
