Swati Sarawagi is the Founder Director of Swarnim International School, a proposed K-12 co-ed CBSE curriculum School in Kolkata. A member of the Dr. Ambedkar Memorial School, and Swapnopuran Welfare Society in Sundarbans, both NGOs, she continually contributes to the upliftment of the marginalised in myriad ways.

She is also the recipient of Leader Award for Community Engagement conferred by School Eduexcellence Awards. 2021.
She has recently turned author with 4 books for young children titled – “Shivi Visits”— a travelogue for children to the vibrant cities of India, each with an underlying social message.
