Dr. Shandilya is an Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business excellence professional. He is a key resource for the deployment of Industry 4.0, Quality Management system, Performance Management, Lean manufacturing system, Six Sigma, TQM, TPM, Problem Solving, Malcolm Baldrige Business Excellence Model, and Operational Performance Excellence strategy initiatives. He has supported and mentored various organizations for activities related to the implementation of tools related to Data Analytics, Lean Six Sigma, IATF, SPC, MSA, Minitab, etc. His clients are from both service and as well as manufacturing sectors like Banks, E-commerce, automobile, education, minerals, metals, etc.

He is associated as a Director with IIPE India, Director with Global System Certifications and as a Chief Advisor – Strategy with QGS Group. He is an active faculty, associated as Adjunct Professor with institutes like BML Munjal University, Indian School of Hospitality, Ajay Kumar Garg Institute for Technology & Management, Lovely Professional University, Amity University, and Abdul Kalam Technical University, etc. where he conducts regular courses, FDP’s and MDP’s.

 

Academically, Sumit is a Ph.D. in Operations, PG Diploma in Data Science, MSc - Statistics, MBA – Operations, PG Diploma in Project Management, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO 45001:2018. He

is a Quality Council of India empanelled Lean Consultant and ZED Consultant. He is contributing to the Quality fraternity as a:

Sumit Shandilya, has been a sportsman in Shotput (Athletics) where he has represented Haryana and Maharashtra at National games securing a bronze medal thrice. He has received state honors as a star of naval wing (NCC), best sportsman award, and bowler of the tournament award at a Regional Cricket Championship. His hobbies include playing Chess and Sudoku.
