Shivanee is an independent fashion advisory consultant. She works with a diverse portfolio of lifestyle brands to help them deliver distinctively curated selection and experiences across channels. She has spent 20+ years in various leadership roles managing diverse international teams to launch successful collections, establish brands, merchandise stores and execute campaigns.
Till recently she was the Director for buying curation at Myntra where she led a team responsible for fashion trend research, product selection, experience and curated lines that drove significant business impact for the platform.

Delivering merchandise growth for the Calvin Klein India business (2019-20) as SVP for Merchandising.
Building an international fashion-forward campaign for Transitions lenses that was adopted internationally
Growing the Fossil international wholesale watches business as part of the global brand management team(2011-2014), and
Winning the Levi’s Global Koshland award (2007) for scaling the home-grown Sykes brand to 0.5M unit sales in India and 6) Winning as a team, the 2003 IFA award for the best brand launch of Allen Solly Womenswear.
Prior to this, Shivanee had a successful foray as a fashion designer. Her graduating collection received rave reviews in London, New York and Paris (1998). She holds a Masters degree in Design from Nottingham Trent UK and an MBA in Marketing from Goizueta Business School, Atlanta, USA.
Shivanee works with brands to identify culturally relevant trends, influence product selection, develop branding and execute content communication strategy to deliver on their business goals. Her consumer-first and design-led approach helps brands build the right assortment, branding, packaging and storytelling.
She leverages her vast experience and fashion intuition coupled with data-backed competitive and category understanding to sharpen product strategy.
When not busy with her son or fitness training, she enjoys volunteering in her buddhist community and speaking, writing and mentoring on all things fashion retail tech, beauty and digital.
