The Foundation Journey                                                              

AmarShindook was set up in the year 2021 by me & my Team. The setting up of the label was not an easy task as the brand came into existence amidst the Covid phase. The transition of the brand from being an idea to a full-fledged online boutique store was hectic because every single step became a hurdle due to the ongoing pandemic situation. I had to retain a lot of patience & willpower in order to overcome the various difficult steps of starting a new brand in this period. But we are after a few months, slowly & steadily progressing with positive vibes. My extreme passion and long awaiting vision for making available to all exquisitely handcrafted jewelry at a very reasonable price are what urged me to take the risk and go forward with the brand.

Core Leadership        

The core leadership of our brand comprises the Founder i.e. myself, the jewelry designer & the advisory panel. AmarShindook is my brainchild of myself. I have been in the IT Education sector for an extensive period of more than 20 years holding different designations like National Sales Head, Chief Sales Officer, Vice President & Senior Vice President. I hold a Graduation degree from Calcutta University & an MBA in Marketing. I always had a knack for Sales & Marketing, Policy formulation, Talent recruitments, Performance Management, Channel & Franchisee Management, P&L Management & Market Research Analysis. I am well versed in High Impact Leadership, Co-creation & know how to retain customers.

I belong to a family of highly educated legal practitioners. My great grandfather Justice Sir Chander Madhab Ghose of Calcutta High Court was the Deputy Magistrate who later joined the Bar Association & became the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court. My Grand Father Mr. Bimal Chandra Ghose apart from being a Barrister was the President of various Schools & Colleges in then Calcutta now Kolkata. He was also the President of the Indian Football Association for 2 years. Myself being a Management Consultant, I strongly believe in “You don’t build a business, you build people, and then people build the business” – Zig Zaglar.

Growth Journey & Future Plan       

Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation, AmarShindook’s growth journey pertaining to revenue and client acquisition has been fairly decent. The clients have well accepted our jewelry, the Artisans are happy with the exposure of their talents and we have been able to make all our patrons from India as well as abroad feel happy and satisfied with product design, durability, and quality. We have been able to assure our patrons from the very beginning of our brand establishment with our wide variety of quality handcrafted jewelry at reasonable prices that we shall not compromise on quality and service at any point in time.

AmarShindook has lots of plans ahead –      

1. To bring in more innovative categories and stylish jewelry.
2. To plans to have physical stores in all the Metropolitan Cities of India.
3. To stretch its wings International.
4. To search and find out more artisans who are the hidden gems actually to showcase their talents from all over India.
5. To dive into the Men’s section of jewelry without being gender-biased in the near future.
6. To have an NGO in the future for underprivileged women to help them become self-sufficient
