Ar. Rucha Nalawade is a new-age Entrepreneur who runs the Architecture and Design firm Consilio Palette. For her, Architecture and art were a part of her childhood as her dad, Mr. Jayant Nalawade is an architecture enthusias and an art lover. Instead of spending time in parks and gardens, she would attend Art shows, galleries and museums. Studied at the prestigious Sinhgad College of Architecture in Pune, she worked at P.G. Patki architects and then at Designous Architects. Being a new-age designer, she focuses on the affordability of the designs for the client. "Modern, minimal and luxury usually do not cater together. But with our projects, we are trying to break the barriers by making our designs unique and quirky at the same time."

 

Consilio Palette is a new-age, all-women Architecture and Interior designing firm run by Ms. Supriya Bhosle and Ar. Rucha Nalawade. Their journey started 3 years ago and is already booming in the Residential and Commercial sectors. The firm focuses on Modern and affordable luxury. The young designers say that their designs are inspired by their own modern outlook, changing times and traditions. For them, luxury isn't just expensive materials and over-the-top designs; according to them luxury is affordable for all when the space is well-designed and executed with good quality materials. "We just don't design homes, we create an environment which is livable and can be maintained easily but with a touch of flare and panache. Our clients are our main objectives, we focus on their needs and design around their requirements for the space." It's quite rare for a designing firm to look at the client's needs and design according to the requirements. And these two young women designers are breaking the stereotypical barriers as they move forward.
