Reshamandi, is India's first digital platform focussed on helping the natural fibre industry to have a standardised quality practices, scientific price discovery and enhanced revenue realization across each node of the supply chain. With this aim, Reshamandi currently works with Sericulture farmers helping them with best quality inputs, scientific advisory, crop assurance and effective market linkage while also working with other downstream stakeholders to create a traceable and tech enabled supply chain. These interventions help in reducing the overall cost for the end customers while also helping retailers who sell silk sarees, fabrics etc in having a great procurement model which helps in discovering the price of the good. In next year Reshamandi aims to work with more than 100,000 farmers with an aim to help them enhance the quality of silk and improve value realisation for each stakeholder through direct downstream linkages.
