Educational Empowerment: Projects like school kit distribution, Yuva Kiran, Gully School, Student Adoptions, Dream Paaya and career guidance have raised literacy rates by 25% in Their project areas transforming the life course of 59,056 children.
Health and Hygiene: Kokan NGO’s WaSH projects have effectively given sanitation facilities, proper hygiene education as well as provision of clean drinking water to more than 52,869 rural underprivileged people. Further Kokan NGOs PADyatra project has focused on offering menstrual hygiene essentials to 14,960 girls and women from rural areas.
Livelihood and Empowerment: They have given skills to those women who are doing nothing but waiting for a chance to change their world. Different courses and entrepreneurship programs changed the lives of about 28,063 women, making them self-dependent.
Orphanage Support: Over 545+ lives have been lifted up through their unwavering support towards orphanages.
Healthcare Access: Kokan NGOs health initiatives reached out to more than 46,586 lives which has facilitated better healthcare and well-being in marginalized areas. Their health care initiative also collaborated with MSACS (Government body) to spread awareness about AIDS and STDs.
Their unshaken devotion has earned them prestigious awards such as the ‘Best NGO of the Year 2023’ and the ‘Community Development Award 2023’.
