Kiran Muniraj graduated from Christ College in the year 2006. He got placed at The Oberoi Udaivilas. He further grew up the ladder with exposure to renowned Indian and International hospitality brands such as Taj, Oakwood, Hilton, and Marriott.
As a thorough Rooms Division personnel, he has handled all subsections of Rooms areas in both management and non-management levels. His 16 years journey encompassed Rebrand, Pre-open, and Refurbishment of Hotels in India and overseas with luxury hotels, resorts, service residences, and business hotels. Currently, he overlooks Rooms Division – Front Office, Housekeeping, and Information Technology operations at Marriott Executive Apartments, Hyderabad.
Additional qualification: Diploma from IATA Training & Development Institute, Canada. Certifications for Leadership Essentials from eCornell and Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) from Franklin Covey. With a passion for learning other cultures, he speaks nine languages including English and three foreign languages.
Kiran at the workplace is known for being tech-savvy, peoples person and extremely approachable. Adding to the number of recognitions received over the journey. The recent award was ‘Leader of the Year’ 2019 and recently shortlisted as a finalist for Regional Brand award as Operations Manager of the year 2020 – APAC followed by National award by Hospitality India Magazine 2021 and Business Mint award in 2022.
