Jain's journey into technology began in his formative years in Delhi, where he exhibited a strong entrepreneurial spirit by founding EduRevamp, an educational technology start-up. This initiative aimed to address the lack of centralised educational resources for students seeking supplementary tuition, research materials, and internship opportunities.

 

Jain earned a degree in Computer Science from the prestigious Duke University. At Duke, he played a pivotal role in developing a health and fitness application using artificial intelligence to personalise workout and nutritional plans, and a digital fidget application designed to aid individuals with ADHD. As a Teaching Assistant for various courses, he supported and assisted his peers. During this time, Jain also developed several open-source products, one of which has been downloaded over 7,300 times. As a core member of the Duke Applied Machine Learning Group, he led numerous initiatives with clients, earning the Duke Institute of Health Innovation fellowship. These achievements paved the way for a prestigious internship as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Bay Area, where he excelled in developing and deploying an end-to-end ML model.

 

In 2022, he joined Meta full-time as a software engineer after a successful internship in 2021. He has been a core member of the Cross-Meta Experience organisation for over two years now. Jain has been instrumental in advancing technological solutions, particularly in data privacy and user accessibility, impacting over a billion users worldwide. In 2023, he was the top contributor to privacy engineering in an organisation of over 300 engineers and one of the top across the entire company. He also leads several other initiatives in addition to the privacy engineering efforts at Meta.

His expertise in large-scale product development and software engineering has driven innovative solutions, from vape detectors to posture correction devices, significantly influencing educational outcomes and technological innovation globally.
