Dr. Srimathy, Founder & CEO of a leading Space Technology and research firm “Space Kidz India” (SKI) specializes in Space research, rocket design, and the building and launching of Satellites. SKI is the only organization in India to have launched 12 balloon satellites, 2 Sub-Orbital satellites, and 2 Orbital satellites. Also, in initiating prestigious programs such as “Young Scientist India”, “Youth Icon” and “I4 India - Innovate for India” among others.

                                                                                      

Dr. Srimathy believes in her vision of providing a platform to the youth of India to groom them as future leaders, innovators, and scientists. Relentless persistence to make Space accessible and affordable led SKI to organize several Space camps across India to educate students in the areas of rocket building, launching techniques, and Satellite building.  SKI has also adopted several Government schools in India and has set up Space camps and trained students from these schools. Dr. Srimathy’s vision came to reality in 2017 when SKI launched the ‘World’s lightest and first-ever 3-D printed satellite” through NASA, with a launch crew that comprised of young adults in the age group of 16-21years. In the last 5 years, SKI has launched multiple satellites successfully by harnessing the power of youth. Dr. Srimathy has impacted millions of young lives across India and the World by providing them with a launchpad called Space Kidz India.  

 She is the only Indian to be decorated with the Ambassador status to the top 3 Space centers -space camps of the World, NASA, ESA, and GCTC - Moscow. Dr. Srimathy’s ultimate goal is to lay the foundation for a World-renowned Space research Park that will house a stand-alone Space University with a manufacturing port in India. 

 Srimathy, was born in a middle-class family, and raised in Hyderabad where she attended the prestigious St. Francis girls’ high school. Her leadership skills blossomed from an early age, she was selected as the group leader for first grade and went on to become the house captain in grade ten. She is a multi-talented personality who actively participated in debates, dance competitions, elocutions, sports and won several awards during the school annual day. During her school days, she was drawn towards medicine and decided he ambition was to become a doctor.
