Charu is AVP at Pocket52- India’s largest igaming network. Leading the B2B vertical she has created and worked on one-of-a-kind business models growing the business in new dimensions. Focusing on the overall growth of the company, she has worked with clients from media, OTT, fintech, multi-national conglomerates to various gaming companies. Building everything from scratch has given her hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the gaming industry. She is the only woman in leadership in her company and amongst the very few female leaders in the Indian gaming industry. As per her, gaming is going to be the next big thing in India and she is grateful to be a part of this revolution around how would India perceive gaming in the future. Previously she has worked with three other different industries in leadership roles with tech being at the core of each of them. She is an engineer from AMU and did her MBA in the UK. Holding two Intl’ research papers in tech, she considers herself as a techie at heart who was thrilled to start her career with L&T. Being the youngest in almost all her life endeavors, she has broken the stereotypes. She is part of several women organizations- President at WICCI, mentor at WomenTech Network, etc., and also received an award from Women Economic Forum.
