The program offers a one-year fellowship with a stipend of INR 50K per month, and ongoing exposure to health care needs through clinical immersions, local and global mentors, SME’s and VC partners during training and incubation. The second batch of fellows is underway following a rigorous screening process filtering candidates from an Indiawide pool of applications. The third batch commences in August, 2018. CfHE startups NemoCare and BeAble from Batch one has won several pitch awards as well as secured funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Department of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) respectively.
