Alomoy Banerjee is presently leading the Green product division of Paharpur Cooling Towers. He is helping industries adapt sustainable cooling practices across applications, resulting in significant reduction of water and energy consumption. He is looking forward to alter the cooling industry in the upcoming decade through sustainable environment friendly innovations, that will reduce the total carbon footprint of industries and hence benefit our planet in the long term.  He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, IEM Kolkata and IIM Kozhikode.

Some interesting sustainability projects executed by Alomoy

1. He collaborated with CII to draft the first global standard for green cooling towers. Worked closely with IGBC, CII and other major stakeholders to ensure PCTL product gets global ecolabelling certification.

2. He lead Techemerge program through strategic partnership with Taj Group (IHCL), IFC & World Bank to ensure implementation of low carbon footprint cooling technology at multiple IHCL properties

3. He partnered with NTT/Dell/Vertiv/CDAC to implement India’s first ever DCLC and liquid cooling immersion technology at hyperscale datacenter in Navi Mumbai, thus lowering effective PUE of the server racks.

4. He lead water-saving adiabatic cooling technology implementation at speciality chemical.industries in Gujarat helping plants achieve achieve their respective ZLD goals.
